Occasionally you find a book that you can't put down!

Occasionally you find a book that you just can't put down. Well The Vampire Within was literally that and more for me. I would pick it up and read at every stop light I came to. I found myself wanting to catch all the red lights so I could read a few more lines. It grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go until the end, and then your left hanging on the edge of your seat when you find out you have to wait for the second book in the series to come out in May 2007. Thank you Drew Silver - your work reaches out and holds your attention from start to finish.

Be prepared to be sucked in!

Instantly you'll feel like you're watching this on the big screen and you'll get to know the characters so well, you'll think they're right there with you. Drew Silver has mastered the art of character development and this story will pull you right in to the middle of all the whirlwind events that take place. It's one of those books that when you finish, you'll count the days to the next release! Don't pass this one up!

"The Vampire Within" is a well written vampire tale. It is the first book in a trilogy. Students are approached by a research scientist to participate in an experiment that is taking place on campus.

Move over Dr Jekel and Mr. Hyde cuz Drew Silver's "The Vampire Within" makes your disassociation seem tamed and rehearsed. In "The Vampire Within," a new kind of serum brings out a person's inner blood lust and few can resist its challenge. Drew Silver's turn of words, description, and horror of reverse psychology is a masterful stroke. I enjoyed the book immensely, and urge every adult to run, not walk to their respective bookstore and buy this book at once. Five silver bullets up!

A great new twist on an old favorite theme.

"The Vampire Within: The Beginning" is an awesome vampire story with a great cast of characters! The author has an amazing ability to create such realistic characters that I found myself forgetting I was reading a book because it was so easy to picture the story in my mind like a movie. Nothing against the male characters, but among the wonderful characters are two very strong females that aren't afraid to get down and dirty when it comes to kicking bad vampire butts!! I love the scientific twist weaved into this classic theme and I can't wait for the next book in the trilogy!
